"Trust Me" She Said... "I Know Where We're Going!"
Firstly, I hope everyone is well and managed to avoid the virus. No doubt you have all been "chomping at the bit" wondering when the next run might happen. Given the lifting of some restrictions from this coming Monday, 18 May, we thought we'd go ahead with Nicole's Mystery Run, subject to the weather of course.
We all have a responsibility as individuals and as a club to abide by the rules, so we have to limit numbers to a maximum of 20 people, whilst still parcticing social distancing etc etc. As a result, it's going to be first in best dressed so we are going to create a "waitlist" so that if we exceed 20 people, the next in line will be invited along if we receive a cancellation.
The plan is to meet under The Narrows Bridge (regular carpark) at 8:45 am (Leaving at 9:00 am) on Sunday 24th May. Where we go to and how we get there after that is anybody's guess.
We are asking all Cobras to park with one car park in between them (if possible) for Covid-19 safety. Leaving 2 metres distance between members if getting out of their cars to chat. Please ensure that we strictly observe this requirement, we can't afford the club getting busted doing the wrong thing!
Along the way the plan is to have a pick up point (for Michael with blue cobra) at the Swan Christian College car park and any others wanting to join up from the Eastern & Northern Suburbs at approximately 9:45 am. We will be stopping somewhere for coffee and takeaway mid-morning through to lunchtime. Exiting run via Mundaring to home.
If you plan on attending, please register ASAP otherwise you might miss out.
